HOW TO KENKEN

The way to solve a KenKen is to fill in the whole grid with numbers, making sure no numbers are repeated in any row or column. In a 3×3 puzzle, use the numbers 1–3. In a 4×4 puzzle, use the numbers 1–4, and so on. e.g. In the darkened areas, called cages, the numbers must hit the target number in the upper left corner of the cage using the target operation. Single squares are called “freebies” and you can fill them in with the number there.
